That feeling when you are hit with that ‘smile in the mind’ moment.
It could be during the working day and within minutes of receiving a brief or it could be ten hours later, whilst sleeping.
02:36am and with no warning, BAM! You wake, heart racing, reaching for that pen and paper (that always sits on your bedside table) and you scribble.
02:38am you return to sleep, safe in the knowledge that the brief you received, has been smashed with that ‘one moment’ and for once you do not care that you were disturbed at 02:36am…
You simply smile, excited for what the next day holds.
Know that feeling? Only a creative knows this and it cannot be beaten.
It is my adrenaline, my fuel, my passion.

FYI… The cycling jerseys below, are my illustrations of actual jerseys that I have been creating for two phenomenal cycling adventures that take place in both California and the Carolinas in support of The Arthritis Foundation. My first design was back in 2017, and each year since, I have continued to support the foundation on the creative front. In the 10 years I have collaborated with them, the events have raised over an amazing $10 million. And I am beyond proud to play just a small part of a big team effort.
